Introduction
Long before Etiyash Spices became a respected name in global spice exports, the journey began with one humble ingredient—Kasuri Methi, or dried fenugreek leaves. Revered for its powerful aroma and distinctive flavor, this ingredient has long been a kitchen staple across Indian homes and is now making its way into international cuisines.
From Farm to Fame
In the early 1990s, Shri Kanaram Gahlot, a visionary farmer from Kuchera, Nagaur, began harvesting and processing Kasuri Methi on a small scale. With no formal education, he relied on pure business acumen and a deep understanding of agriculture. His goal was simple—deliver high-quality dried fenugreek leaves to spice manufacturers across India.
This modest initiative eventually laid the groundwork for a much larger venture: Etiyash Spices and Food Private Limited, founded in 2020 by his sons, Mr. Kriparam Gahlot and Mr. Sukhram Gahlot. They carried forward their father’s vision, scaling up from a village-based farming model to a full-fledged spice processing and export company.
Why Kasuri Methi Stands Out
Kasuri Methi isn’t just a herb—it’s an experience. When dried properly, fenugreek leaves release a deep, earthy fragrance with subtle bitter notes that enhance the richness of dishes like butter chicken, parathas, and dal makhani.
At Etiyash, our Kasuri Methi is sourced directly from local farmers, carefully sun-dried, and packed using modern hygienic methods that lock in its natural oils and flavors. The result? A product with long shelf life, vibrant color, and unmatched aroma.
Global Recognition
Today, Etiyash Spices exports Kasuri Methi to over 10 countries, including the USA, UAE, UK, and parts of Southeast Asia. It has become a trusted ingredient in restaurants, catering services, and food manufacturing units looking for consistency and quality.
Conclusion
Kasuri Methi is more than just a spice for us—it’s a symbol of our legacy and growth. From rural Rajasthan to global kitchens, it continues to tell the story of hard work, innovation, and authenticity.
