Usage

Shahi’ is a Hindi word which literally translates to Royal. This dish consists of a rich gravy and delicious cottage cheese. The gravy is made from curd, cream and pureed nuts. It is a fairly simple recipe; just blanching and pureeing the ingredients and hem sautéing them together.

Humble cottage cheese is now just a dash away from its royal transformation. Etiyash Shahi Paneer Masala achieves a subtle flavour and royal aroma in every grain, with pure Kashmiri spices.

Slice 300 gm paneer (Cottage Cheese) into small, triangular pieces. Heat 3 tbsp of oil/ghee, add paste of 3 onions, and fry till golden. Add 4 tbsp tomato puree/paste. Stir-fry for 5 min. Stir in 1 tbsp Etiyash Shahi Paneer Masala. Add 2 tsp magaz. 2 tsp cashew paste, 40ml fresh cream and salt. Boil with 1 ½ cups hot water. Add paneer slices. Simmer till done. Garnish with green coriander leaves and a dash of fresh cream. Serve steaming hot.
