Chhach Masala also calls it Jeeralu is very flavorful and digestive spice blend. Chhach | Buttermilk is a very popular drink in India, especially during summer. It is healthier than juices and other drinks. Every family has their own masala recipe. You can easily store this up to a year at room temperature. Chhach Masala is Multipurpose. You can sprinkle this masala on fruits, season your salad, sprinkle over sandwiches or make a refreshing Lemon drink (Limbu Sharbat)

Masala Chhach or spiced buttermilk is a refreshing Indian drink that is mildly spicy and tangy, usually savoured after meals to improve digestion. Yogurt – Yogurt (Curd) is the base of this drink. Spices – You will need salt, black pepper powder, and roasted cumin powder.

To make Masala Buttermilk, grind the leaves by adding coriander leaves, mint leaves, coarsely ground black pepper, finely chopped green chillies, roasted cumin powder, black salt and a little yogurt in a mixer jar. When the coriander and the mint are fine, add the remaining curd to it and whisk it. After this, add ice cubes to it and blend until the ice melts. Masala Buttermilk is ready. To serve the buttermilk, put it in a glass and garnish it with mint leaves and a little roasted cumin powder. Excellent buttermilk in taste is ready. If you do not want sharpness, do not add chilli. If you want, instead of black salt, you can also use white salt or both by mixing.
